Right until recently, Sheepie and I both noticed that we haven’t been to a Korean BBQ Restaurant together even though we have been together for almost three years and counting! Therefore, to tick that off our “Things Couples Should Do List”, we decided to visit BBQ Ma Eul Cup Bab that is quite well known in Damansara Uptown. This restaurant is famous for their korean BBQ with unlimited water and side dishes refill.

Gather @ Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya

Gather is sort of a bar restaurant located opposite of RHB bank on the first level in Damansara Uptown. The menu includes both asian and western cuisine and good selections of wines and alcoholic drinks. Booked through Eatigo, we got 50% discount from the food menu. Udon Kobo Min Min @ Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya

Udon is a thick and springy noodle that is normally used in Japanese Cuisine. It has became such a popular dish that there are many udon restaurant nowadays selling their fresh homemade udon noodles in frozen packaging. Depending to your liking, some may prefer the springy type of udon while some liked the softer version.

The Fat Bird Cuisine @ Aman Suria, Petaling Jaya

Fat Bird Cuisine is a cozy restaurant located in Aman Suria. We came to known this restaurant through an mobile app Eatigo which entitles us to have 50% discount if we perform a reservation through the app. We also liked the quiet environment in the restaurant as we were able to do our work without any disturbance.

Strangers at 47 @ Section 17, Petaling Jaya

Strangers at 47 is most probably one of the cafe in Kuala Lumpur area with the best customer service. This cafe has been around since 2014 and the quality hasn’t dropped since then. The consistency they have in their service and food is very impressive.

BBQ Bar 串越时光 @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

BBQ Bar is a newly opened barbecue place in SS2 that serves lamb, beef and pork meat.  Meat will be the highlight of the shop in addition to many other different kinds of selection such as seafood, vegetable, their specialties and also some staple food to make sure your tummy is satisfactorily filled. They also serve beer which everyone knows nothing complements barbecue meat better than a pint of cold beer. About 9.00 pm, the bar will come to life as live musician began to sing songs by request.

Skippys Pizza Uptown @ Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya

Attracted by the special deal while scrolling through Facebook, we decided give this restaurant a try two weeks ago. Menu can be viewed from their website and they provide delivery service as well. The restaurant is well known for the cheap cold beer among local drinker, but we were heading here for their pizza instead.
