Right until recently, Sheepie and I both noticed that we haven’t been to a Korean BBQ Restaurant together even though we have been together for almost three years and counting! Therefore, to tick that off our “Things Couples Should Do List”, we decided to visit BBQ Ma Eul Cup Bab that is quite well known in Damansara Uptown. This restaurant is famous for their korean BBQ with unlimited water and side dishes refill.
A la carte option was a little expensive for us, thus we decided to go for set meal option 3 which has sliced pork belly, pork shoulder and grilled baby octopus for RM59. Well, actually, we wanted the grilled baby octopus that come with the set because Sheepie really loves baby octopus grilled in Korean Style coated with Cheese. So before we forget, we ordered a la carte Cheese Dipping for RM10.
At first, we thought since no service charge in incurred, maybe we have to BBQ it by ourselves. But no! A handsome Korean Oppa came and grilled the meat for us.
Another thing that we particularly happy with this restaurant is the self service side dish refill. You don’t have to always tell the staff to refill your side dishes and in some restaurants, the staff returns with only half refilled side dish and a troublesome look on his face. You can also choose the side dishes that you like all by your own.
Oh yes! Take a look at the Grilled Baby Octopus and Satisfying Cheese Dipping! Please remember the equation. Grilled Baby Octopus + Cheese = Yummy Delicious! They are literally the perfect match to each other. But please don’t forget, this is a personal preferences and each person may be different. 🙂
Overall, this is a good Korean restaurant that is worth a try. We might visit again when our Korean Mood kicks in.
